Lethal Poetry is a recent start-up Arts & Entertainment Company founded in Chicago, IL. The concept for this company blossomed out of an idea to use the arts and music for something positive. Lethal Poetry is propelling a lifestyle of being active participants in environmental & humanitarian issues. They believe that ‘the artist’ has the greatest power to make change and serve as an example for others, because they make their own choices about what materials they use and how sustainable they live.
LP’s first step has been curating and hosting a series of moving art/music/film exhibitions, A NIGHT OF SIGHT & SOUND. The goal was to build a sustainable event that would always raise funds for non-profits that actively promote the environment and humanitarian issues. They started by completely reworking the basement of a coffee house and realized that they had an overwhelming amount of interest. With little more than one success under their belt they were able to move into larger venues and welcome international performing musicians amongst other new successes.

Recently Lethal Poetry has partnered with another Chicago start-up Arts Company, Salvo, in order to organize and curate the largest mobile exhibition in the world. LP & Salvo have secured an entire CTA Train (8 cars), on August 30, 2008, to transform into a stunning audio, visual, interactive exhibition!
Soon after Art On Track, LP’s Record Label division is using thier premier act, The Mojdeh Project as the group to launch thier major national promotional campaign. The campaign will be built to help escalate the success of the band through means of inviting people to participate in public service! The launch of this is coming soon...
